The Carolan Group Core Values

  • Positivity
At the Carolan Group, we believe in focusing our day on positivity. Despite daily obstacles and adversity, we choose to be positive – not only in our interactions internally but also in our communication with candidates and clients externally. We choose to be bucket-fillers – not bucket-drainers and to improve the lives of others by choosing to live, think, and act positively – instead of focusing on the negatives and things we can’t control.
  • Integrity
We believe that integrity should be the pillar and foundation of all that we do. No matter how minor or major the interaction is, our goal is to do the right thing – even if it doesn’t benefit us in the near term. We will hold true to a moral and ethical internal compass in how we choose to transact business. Our team will choose the high road, no matter the consequences or ramifications.
  • Transparency
We believe that honesty is the best policy, despite it sometimes being less comfortable and less convenient. We will be transparent with one another as a team and commit to offering constructive feedback when necessary. We will serve our clients as transparent and upfront liaisons between them and our candidates, offering the truth as a bridge between both parties to the best of our ability.
  • Intention
We believe that every productive and successful day first begins with clear intention. We believe in setting goals (some small, some large) and being intentional in each step to get there. We believe success is achieved through defined purpose and choosing our actions with deliberate intent. By being intentional each day, we strive to meet ourselves at the level of our own expectations and execute in a timely, organized, and strategic manner.
  • Trust
We believe that trust is the foundation and ultimately the goal for our relationships both externally as well as internally. We believe trust is earned and not granted. Each Carolan Group member has a huge role to play in the greater picture – by trusting one another to do their jobs and perform well individually, we will be more likely to succeed as a team. We trust each team member to do the right thing and prioritize the team – the “we” – over the “me” or “I.” The sum of our collective parts is greater than the individual.
  • Excellence
We strive for excellence in all we do. We believe that how we do one thing is how we do everything. We are committed to the highest degree of quality in all we do and never settle for mediocrity, whether crafting a personalized e-mail or preparing for a client meeting. Excellence defines our standard and our baseline. It’s in the way we carry ourselves, interact with others, and the way we “show up” EVERY day.
